| Mida Wallace, 84, of Albany
died Sunday. She was born to Clarence and Florence (Ivey) Windom in Paisley, Oregon. Mida
moved to Sweet Home in 1942. Her husband drove a log truck, while she did the
paper work and bookkeeping. When her husband passed away in 1997, she moved to
Albany to be closer to her ailing mother. She is survived by daughters;
Patsy Good and Bobbi Wallace, both of Albany, and Beverly Fishe of Lebanon; son,
Bill Wallace Jr. of Lebanon; sisters, Betty Reed of Albany, Jean Guiney of Ashland,
and Delores Rictor of Moxee, Washington; brothers, Carl Windom of Corvallis and
Lee Butch Windom of Tangent; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews
and friends; 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Mida was preceded
in death by husband, Bill Red Wallace in 1997; granddaughter, Terry
Wallace in 1996; her father, mother, and two brothers. Viewing will be Thursday,
January 4, from 4:00-7:00 pm at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Services will be Friday,
January 5, at 11:00 am at Sweet Home Evangelical Church. Memorial contributions
