| Donald Briles, 60, of Sweet Home passed away Monday, January 15.
He was born to Ray and Nyle (Austin) Briles in Modesto, California. “Donny”
came to Sweet Home in the mid 70’s. He was employed by Willamette Industries
and Weyerhaeuser for many years in the Sweet Home area. He enjoyed serving as
one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 19 years. He is survived by his wife,
Sandra Briles, of Sweet Home; daughter, Shelby, and her husband, Nicholas Reynders,
of Corvallis; mother, Nyle Briles, of Reno, Nevada; and sister, Jean Curtis, also
of Reno, Nevada. Donny was preceded in death by his father, Ray Briles,
and three brothers, Bob, Ray, and Nelson Briles. |  | | | | Services
will be Saturday, January 20, at 2:00 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses
in Sweet Home. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel will be handling the arrangements. |
