| Mary Freeman, 96, of Lebanon died Wednesday. She was born to Elmer
and MaryAnn (Conner) Groshong in Holley, Oregon. Mary lived in Holley most
of her life. She married four times during her life. Marys last husband
was Burnell Freeman in 1985. The couple moved to Tillamook, Oregon. There, Burnell
passed away. Mary later moved to Lebanon. Mary was a member of the Willamette
Chapter of Western Star Grange in Corvallis, Eastern Star Lodge in Shedd and Royal
Neighbor Lodge in Crawfordsville. She was a Christian all of her life. Mary
enjoyed to crochet and shared her talents with family and friends. She loved and
cherished traveling. She was friendly to everyone. She is survived by stepson,
Earl Davis of Pendleton; siblings, Bertha Malone of Holley, Ivan Groshong of Sweet
Home, Royal Groshong of Florence; numerous nieces and nephews; and grandchildren
from later marriages, including Cindy Green and Linda McMurphy. Mary was
preceded in death by both parents; her only son, Ray McQueen; and ten brothers
and sisters. No viewing is scheduled. Funeral services will be 11:00 am
Monday at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. |
