Artis A. Gadsby, 51, of Sweet Home, died Monday. She was born in Gorman, Texas, the daughter of Artie and Mozelle (Beaty) Taber.
Artis grew up in Texas. She was a loving mother to her to boys. She married Doug Gadsby later in life. They came to Sweet Home in 1995.
She is survived by husband, Doug Gadsby; children, Chad Lay and Jason Lay; sister, Kay Brown; and brothers, Herb Taber and Dolan Taber.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home at 101 S. Ave. D in Burkburnett, TX 76354, (940) 569-3361. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel will be handling the arrangements.
