John Gregory Dompier, 49, of Sweet Home died Thursday. He was born in Spokane, Washington to John and Diane (Heineman) Dompier in 1957.
John came to Oregon in 1986 and settled in Sweet Home in 1989. In 1992 he married Linda Matheny in Lebanon; the couple resided in Sweet Home attending Community Chapel on Ames Creek.
He worked for Linn County Public and Mental Health as a Computer Technician. John enjoyed relaxing in his hot tub, going to the coast and getting together with friends. He loved his family very much.
John is survived by wife, Linda Dompier, of Sweet Home; children, Christina Dompier of Ashton, Idaho, Stephanie Dompier of Sweet Home, Andrew Vosgien of Albany, and Michelle Vosgien of Albany; father, John Neal Dompier; brothers, Robert and Timothy of Spokane, Washington, and James of Honolulu, Hawaii; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane, in 2003.
Service will be Tuesday, June 12, at 11 am at Community Chapel on Ames Creek. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel will be handling the arrangements. |
