Pearl Hammons, 77, of Sweet Home died Wednesday. She was born to Hansel and Edna (VanZandt) Broyhill in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Pearl volunteered for Sunday School and helped at Bible Camp. She used to do all kinds of things and helped pack food for Gleaners. She loved camping and fishing. Pearl was very dedicated to her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by sons, Denver Hammons and Kenneth Hammons; sister, Hattie Benton of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Mike, Andrea, Deanna, Darin, and Darcie; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pearl was preceded in death by husband, Herman Russel “Red” Hammons, three sisters, and one brother.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Sweet Home. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel will be handling the arrangements. |
