Frances Ellen Robertson, age 91, of Sweet Home, died Tuesday. She was born to Byron and Nellie (Scheiler) Hutchins in Jefferson, Oregon. She married Earl Robertson on July 30, 1937 in Stevens, Washington. They then moved to Sweet Home in 1941.
She lived in and around Sweet Home most of her life. Frances worked for Robertson Feed and Seed for several years. She loved to fish, hunt, and travel.
Frances is survived by a son, Leroy Robertson, and his wife, Jewell, of Sweet Home; a daughter, Lois Kerns, and her husband, Arthur, of Eugene; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Robertson; a sister, A. Marie Robertson; and two brothers, Raymond and Paul Hutchins.
Viewing will take place Thursday, August 23, from 2:00-7:00 pm. A graveside service at Gilliland Cemetery will be held Friday, August 24, at 10:00 am. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. |
