Aaron Phillips, age 64, of Sweet Home passed away at his home with family.
Mr. Phillips was born to Aaron C. and Lillie (Weatherford) Phillips in Corsicana, Texas. He married Linda Dlouhy in Lichdale, Pennsylvania on August 27, 1961.
Aaron worked in construction during his life. He loved being outdoors and with horses. He was a cowboy.
Aaron is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Dlouhy Phillips; his son, Lester Phillips, and daughter-in-law, Rachel; sisters, Jaunita Kelly, of Foster, JayDean Shaw, of Uma, Arizona, and Josephine Hartwell of Bonham, Texas; grandchildren, Elijah, Sasha, and Josiah; and a lot of nieces and nephews.
Aaron was preceded in death by his grandson, Andy; a sister, Dorothy Henthorne Phillips; and parents, Aaron C. and Lillie Phillips, Sr.
Aaron’s son wrote a poem for his dad.

I’ll Miss You Dad.
Sky is his ceiling, grass is his bed.
Saddle is the pillow for the cowboys head.
Way out west, where antelope roam and coyotes howl around.
Cowboys home.
