Margaret Sanders, age 74, of Sweet Home (formerly of San Diego, California), passed away Friday, September 21, 2007. She was born in Picher, Oklahoma to Paul Edward and Edith May (Williams) Southworth.

Margaret moved to San Diego in 1958. She was raised a Methodist. She recently moved to Sweet Home in August 2007.

Margaret started off as a payroll clerk for San Diego Federal Savings and Loan in 1958. Over her thirty year career in the savings and loan business, she worked her way up and retired as an assistant vice-president with Great American Savings and Loan.

She found great joy in cooking and catalog shopping for all of her children and grandchildren. She also liked helping the less fortunate by volunteering her time and resources. She was particularly interested in helping our veterans.

Margaret is survived by her four children, Marc Sanders of Springfiled, Craig Satien of Springfield, Tommye Sanders (her only daughter) of San Diego, and Larry Horton of Sweet Home; her sister, Linda Sanders of San Diego; and six grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Sanders, and her mother and father, Edith and Paul Southworth.
