Adrian “Ade” H. Gonia, age 97, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Thursday.
He was born in Eatonville, Washington to James and Alma Gonia. During his life he lived in Washington and Oregon. He moved to Sweet Home in 1948 and lived there ever since. He worked with plywood and lumber at Willamette Industries, retiring in 1975. He loved hunting and fishing.
Adrian was a past Exalted Ruler of Elks, active in the Sweet Home Elks Lodge for many years.
Adrian is survived by his daughter, Adrienne Gonia, of St. Petersburg, Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances M. She passed away in 1988.
