John Michael Stratman, age 54, of Sweet Home passed away October 31. He was born in San Diego, California to Roger D. and Patricia (Pickert) Stratman.
John graduated from Sweet Home High School and lived many places before returning to Sweet Home in 2002. He was a truck driver based out of Portland for several years.
John played Bass Guitar in a band in Portland. He also enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his mother, Pat Stratman, of Sweet Home; one daughter, Rhea (Eric) Falig, and grandson, Josiah Falig, all of Springfield, Missouri; and one brother, Robert (Nancy) Stratman, of Sweet Home.
John was preceded in death by his father, Roger D. Stratman.
