Ivan E. Brown, age 88, of Sweet Home, passed way Sunday. He was born in Hazelton, Idaho to John Allen and Edith Belle (Cleveland) Brown.
Ivan served in the South Pacific as a Navy CB. He married Lucile Avis Walworth.
Ivan is survived by his wife, Lucile; son, Ivan Brown Jr., of California; sister, Elizabeth Gilmore, of Eugene; two grandchildren, Jamie Sutter and Todd Boeger; and one great granddaughter, Emma Sutter.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cean Boeger, and eight brothers and sisters.
Private services were held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel handled the arrangements. |
