Ruben Stepper, age 80, passed away December 8, 2007, while visiting in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born in North Dakota to John and Martha (Kerkenberg) Stepper. He was second of 14 children. Three sisters and two brothers still survive.
Ruben served in the Army from 1945 to 1948.
Ruben is survived by his wife, Vinnie Stepper, of Lebanon; two sons: Don Stepper of Idaho and Rols Deschner of Germany; one daughter: Dorothy Gilson of Washington; two grandsons, two granddaughters and three great grandchildren. He attended The Assembly of God in Lebanon and Pastor Garland Rodgers will be officiating the services which will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
