Allyn H. Maycumber, age 86, passed away Tuesday. He was born in Fairview, Oregon to Almo Albright and Rebecca (Henry) Maycumber.
Allyn was in the Navy as a First Class Naval Aviation Metal Smith from 1944-1948; during WWII. He worked as a Saw Filer at Willamette Industries.
Allyn loved motorcycles, hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling the United States.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Maycumber, of Sweet Home, daughter, Teena Emerson, of Philomath, Oregon, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Allyn was preceded in death by daughter, Marla Kintigh, May 27, 1993. |
