Bernice L. Reynolds, age 75, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday. She was born in Fall City, Oregon to Samuel Albert and Thelma (Shadle) Morgan.
Her father worked in the logging industry and so their family moved often to find timber jobs.
She graduated from Oregon State University.
She has lived in Sweet Home for the last 30 years. She ran and operated the Millers Cave restaurant in downtown Sweet Home. People there knew her as “Sam” and loved coming in. She had also worked as a caregiver.
Bernice loved her many cats over the years.
Bernice is survived by her children David and Bill Reynolds, Michael Belyeu, and Teri Jefferson; sisters Gertrude Lowden, Maxine Isabel, Esther and brother-in-law, Ted Dietz, and Joyce Greiner; brothers Jim Morgan and Joe Morgan; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by children Donny Barnett, Lora Linderman, and Merrill Dean Reynolds; and sister Margaret Duncan.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, May 4th, at Sweet Home Senior Center. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling services. |
