Earl Burton Tackett, age 69, of Sweet Home passed away Saturday. He was born in McKaskill, Arkansas to Joe and Effie (Barber) Tackett.
Earl lived in Portland, Glendale, Roseburg, and Sutherlin and moved to Sweet Home in 1999. He loved being in Sweet Home and thought the area was beautiful.
Earl loved cars, boating, fishing, camping, and going to parks during the summer.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbi Tackett, of Sweet Home; son, DeWayne Tackett, and his wife, Karla, of Colton; daughter, Kim, and her husband, Todd Brown, of West Linn; stepsons, Larry Hambrick, of Sweet Home and James and his wife, Amber Hambrick, of Portland; brothers, Carroll Barber, of Woodburn, Gene Tackett and his wife, Dolores, of Mesquite, Nevada, and Bobby Joe Tackett and his wife, Linda Tackett, of Aurora; grandchildren, Britanny, Breanna, Sierra, and Savannah of Colton, Samantha and Parker Brown of West Linn, John and Shakoda of Sweet Home, Christian of Roseburg, Gabe and Aliyah of Portland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
