Edward Wilber Porria, age 80, of Sweet Home passed away Sunday. He was born in San Jose, California to Clinton E. and Mae Ellen (Harrison) Young.

The family moved to Oregon in 1955 from California. They moved to Sweet Home in 1980 from Harrisburg, Oregon

Edward worked for Eugene Chemical and Rendering as a truck driver from 1955 to 1993.

Edward was a baptist. He loved fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.

Edward is survived by his wife, Roberta Porria; son, Rick Porria of Sweet Home; daughters, Sandra Grieve of Lebanon, Beverly Drew of Maine, Deborah Reagh of Sweet Home, Cynthia Hoffman of Springfield, Barbara Richardson of Sweet Home, and Patricia Russell of Sweet Home; brothers, Bill of California and Clinton of California; sisters, Margie and Mae Ellen; 18 grandchildren, and 21-1/2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by stepdad, Clinton Young; mother, Mae Ellen Young; and sisters, Cleada and Dorothy.
