| Harvey James Dudley, age 74, of Sweet Home passed away Sunday. He was born in Antelope, Oregon to Albert and Margarite Dudley.
Harvey served in the US Navy and received the Korean Service Medal (2 Stars), United Nations Service Medal, and the National Defence Service Medal.
Harvey lived in Antelope, Bend, and several places while serving in the Navy. He ultimately moved to Sweet Home in 1989. He was a member of the VFW in Sweet Home and loved reading and yard work.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Alice E. Dudley of Sweet Home; stepchildren, Shirley Ferguson of Sweet Home, Maxie E. Brune of Redrock, Texas, Alice E. Lour of Redrock, Texas, Connie L. Nietsche of Lockhart, Texas, David D. Brune of Austin, Texas, and Richard C. Brune of Pflugerville, Texas; sisters, Betty Torkelson of Seattle, Washington and Laura Snelson of Bend; brothers, Jeff Dudley of Bend and David Dudley of Redmond; grandchildren, Kassy Ferguson, Anthony Elgin, and Michael Elgin; and several more step-grandchildren.
Burial services will take place in Bend, Oregon. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
