| David Louis Barstad, Jr., age 40, of Lebanon passed away Monday. He was born in Lebanon, Oregon to David Louis Barstad, Sr., and Adeline A. Sprague. David had lived in Montana, Arizona, and Oregon.
David was a carpenter and mechanic. He loved cars, motorcycles, and bible study. He was involved in a recovery program and was clean and sober for 1 year as of June 25, 2008.
David is survived by his mom, Adeline, and her husband, Bill Hight, of Sweet Home; dad, Dave Barstad, and his wife, Sue, of Dayton; son, Samuel Barstad, of Washington; daughter, Shyanne Barstad, of Washington; sister, Tami Gustine, of Siverton; and several stepbrothers and step sisters.

He was preceded in death by son, Daniel Barstad, in 1991.
Donations can be made to Sweet Home Funeral Chapel to help defray the cost of services. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 2, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. |
