| Anna M. Boer, age 89, of Sweet Home passed away Tuesday at the Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
Anna was born in Harrison, South Dakota to Dewey and Hatie (Bulkama) Westra. She married Hans Boer on December 21, 1937 in Harrison. The couple came to Oregon in 1947, where they settled in Sweet Home.
Anna enjoyed going to church every Sunday at the River of Life. She played marbles with her friends, Natalie and Roger, every Friday for many years. She loved family gatherings and holidays, offering cookies and deserts. She enjoyed going for rides and loved the quail and other birds on her property.
Anna is survived by her children, Delores Rucker, Charlotte Harper, and Dean Boer, all of Sweet Home, and Dan Boer of Warren; sister, Hilda; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hans Boer, and six brothers.
Viewing will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m.,Thursday, August 7, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m., noon, on Friday, August 8, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Final burial will be at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home.
