| Anna Arlene Wolfe, age 75, of Sweet Home passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008. She was born in Hardisty, Alberta, Canada to Thomas Edward and Hilma (Nelson) Hunking. Anna grew up around Woodburn and Hubbard. She attended Canby High School.
Anna married Richard K. Wolfe November 22, 1948 in Woodburn. They lived many years in the Waldport-Tidewater area, working at several fish canneries. They moved to Sweet Home in 1993.
Anna loved jigsaw puzzles, reading, and flower gardens. She worked with Meals on Wheels from 1993 to 2003, until poor health prevented further service. |

Anna is survived by son, Keith Wolfe of Sweet Home; daughter, Sharon Gibbons of Crawfordsville; son, Ronald Wolfe of Sweet Home; daughter, Patricia Jackson of Cascadia; sisters, Jean Vredurburg of Woodburn and Helen Vandehey of Florence; brother, Veloyce Hunking of Prineville; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. Wolfe, and infant daughter.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 25, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Final burial will be at Gilliland Cemetery.
