| Betty Lou Hyer, age 78, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday. She was born in Denver, Colorado to Henry and Lula (Miller) Devlin.
Betty was a homemaker and lived in Sweet Home most of her life with her husband, Tom, of 56 years.
Betty is survived by her husband, John “Tom” Hyer, of Sweet Home; daughter, Melissa, and her husband, John Wise, of Sweet Home; son, Thomas, and wife, Carolyn Hyer, of Silverton; and grandchildren, Luke and Ben Schmidt, Kyle and Allison Hyer, and Zane and Quin Wise.
Graveside services for family and close friends will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 4, at Gilliland Cemetery.
