| Thelma Dell Davis, age 93, of Sweet Home passed away Sunday. She was born in Iliff, Colorado to Charlie and Susie (Duffield) Gill. She was raised in Colorado and went to school in Podroni, Colorado. As an adult, she lived in Lebanon and Sweet Home.
She loved ceramics, crafts, and pool.
Thelma is survived by children, Barb and husband Don Pierce of Albany, Janet Thill of Apache Jct, Arizona, Butch Davis of Lebanon, Daryl and wife Bobbie Davis of Sweet Home, LenNel and husband Robert Weber of Albany, Debra and husband Rick Powell of Soldotna, Alaska; brother, Dayle Gill; 21 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 28 great, great grandchildren; and caregiver and companion, Lynn Mankin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Davis, in 1994; son, Marvin Davis, in 1956; siblings, Ruby Mae Gill Barr, Virgil E. Gill, Delbert F. Gill, Glenna Gill Anderson, Harry Gill, Ralph Gill, Eva Gill Reynolds, and Velma Gill Ritchie.
A celebration of life will be at noon Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Foster RV Park. Memorial contributions can be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice in her name.
