| Shirlee L. Johnson, age 65, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008. She was born on April 23, 1943 in Lebanon, Oregon to "Big" Don and Margaret (Chaplin) Johnson.
Shirlee lived in California prior to moving to Oregon in 1975. She eventually settled in Sweet Home in 2001.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed crafts and scrap booking.
She is survived by her children, Jenelle and Bobby Johnson of Sweet Home, Kim Collins of Lebanon, Mike Swezey of Beaverton, and Dwayne Swezey of Eugene; sisters, Coni Boyer and Pauline Patton of Lebanon; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Johnson; her mother and father; and her sister, Amazette Fisher.
Viewing will be from 4:00 to 7:00 Monday December 1, 2008 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday December 2, 2008 at the Sweet Home Assembly of God church. Final burial will be at Gilliland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made care of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel to benefit her minor children. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling services.
