| Kenneth Orville Rodriguez, age 81, of Sweet Home passed away Saturday. He was born in Morro Bay, California to Keeney and Josephine (Trejo) Rodriguez.
He served in the United States Navy. He lived in Morro Bay, Grover City, and Sacramento, California. He then moved to Sweet Home in 1991.
Kenneth worked at the United States Post Office as a letter carrier for 43 and 1/2 years. He was a Minister for the Church of Christ for over 40 years. His last position was at the Church of Christ in Lebanon. Kenneth later attended the Sweet Home Church of Christ.
He liked collecting, anything and everything, including knives, hammers, old tools, fishing reels, fishing poles, Native American Art, pens, etc. |

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Jan, of Sweet Home; brother, Al, of Curpertino, California; daughter, Cathy, and her husband, Scott, of Glenwood, Washington; sons, Steven, and his friend, Sara D., of Fair Oaks, California, Ken Jr., and his wife, Rachel, of Roseville, California, and Randy, and his wife, Linda, of Snohomish, Washington; daughters-in-law, Linda, of Kansas, Pam, of Williams, California, Trish, of Sacto, California, and Linda, of Alaska; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen, and his brother, William.
Memorial contributions can be made in his name to Alzheimer's Research.
A memorial service will held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 7, at Church of Christ, 210 East Grand, Lebanon, Oregon. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling services. |
