| Georgia May Pace, age 81, of Sweet Home passed away Wednesday. She was born in Monroe, Washington to Oliver E. and Ruth Helen (Seeney) Green.
She moved to Sweet Home in 1941 and graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1947. She and App Pace married in 1948. Georgia was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time at home and raising a family.
Georgia is survived by her sons, Robert Pace, Kenneth Pace, Gary Pace, Steven Pace, and Richard Pace (all of Sweet Home), and Dennis Pace of Albany; daughter, Shirlee Pace of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; brother, Howard Green of Sweet Home; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, App Pace, in 1982; her sisters, Florence Jones in 1967, Rose Reynolds in 2000, and Ann Green; and her brother, Lawrence Green, in 1998.
Viewing will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 22, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 23, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
Final burial will be at Gilliland Cemetery.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling services.
