| Donald Eugene White, age 76, of Sweet Home passed away Friday. He was born in Bend, Oregon to Robert Aiden and Evelyn Adell (Rice) White.
Donald graduated from Lebanon High School, and then served in the United States Air Force. He was an owner and tech for White’s body shop in Sweet Home for about 20 years.
Donald married Mary Lou Currie on October 7, 1962 in Reno, Nevada. She passed away in 1993.
Don loved socializing with his friends at the Elks Lodge and assisted with the weekly functions and special occasions for many years. Boating, camping, and fishing were hobbies Don enjoyed and he was an accomplished gardener.
Donald is survived by his daughters, Lisa Bowman Steenson of Battle Ground, Washington and Sandra Bowman Brewer of Winston, Montana; his son, David Bowman of Redding, California; his brother, Richard White, and sister-in-law, Marge, of Eugene; and his grandchildren, Raina, Jill, and Lauren Steenson, Brooke and Tyler Bowman, and Bill and Cody Brewer.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 30, at Lewis Cemetery in Foster, Oregon. A luncheon at the Elks Lodge in Sweet Home will immediately follow the service.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
