| Janet Klinkebiel, age 80, of Brownsville passed away Monday. She was born in Cornellius to William and Ann Doretta (Smuthers) Christensen. She was raised in Lents District in Portland.
She married her husband, Fritz Klinkebiel, August 11, 1946 in Canby. They were married for nearly 64 years.
Janet is survived by her husband, Fritz Klinkebiel of Brownsville; children, Fred J. and his wife, Della, Klinkebiel of Brownsville, Doretta and husband, Dave, Kennedy of Sun City, Arizona, and Alan and wife, Gloria, Klinkebiel of Brownsville; grandchildren, Chad and Miguan Nelsen of Arizona - children of Doretta and Dave, Mindy Klinkebiel Cordle and Michael Klinkebiel of Eugene - children of Alan and Gloria, Rebekah Klinkebiel and Amy Klinkebiel of Brownsville, Kaitlin Klinkebiel of Corvallis - children of Fred and Della; and great grandchildren, Brooke and Kayle Nelsen of Chad Nelson of Arizona, Colin and Kaylee of Mindy and Marc Cordle, all of Albany.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Mandy Klinkebiel, in 1997 - daughter of Alan and Gloria.
Donations can be made in Janet's name to EMT of Brownsville, Oregon.
As Janet requested, there will be no services.
