| Richard A. Bowler, 80, of Reedsport passed away Wednesday. He was born in Oakland, California to Harold and Betty (Patton) Bowler.
He married LaRane G. Burningham in Reno in 1949. They lived in the Bay area for a time before coming to Sweet Home in the late 1960s. They retired in Reedsport in the 1980s.
Richard is survived by children, Carol Elizabeth Bell, Richard Bowler, Jr., and Norman Arthur Bowler; twelve grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, LaRane; son, John William Bowler; and a brother.
A gathering will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, May 30th, at Waterloo County Park, Area 1.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling services.
