| Gregory Hyman Smith, age 57, of Sweet Home, Oregon died on Sunday July 19, 2009 at his home. Greg was born on December 31, 1951 in Lebanon; the son of Hyman and Bula Carmalee (Halbrook) Smith.
Greg attended school in Sweet Home and graduated from Sweet Home High School. He worked for the Target Distribution Center in Albany. He enjoyed the outdoors as a youth. He was also interested in classic cars.
He is survived by: his mother, Carmalee Smith; son, Chad Smith; and sister, Dawn McCoy. He was preceded in death by his father, Hyman Smith.
Viewing will be 3:00 to 6:00 pm Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, July 23, at Liberty Cemetery.
