| Anne Sue Brady, age 81, of Sweet Home died on August 6, 2009 at a local nursing home. She was born June 6, 1928 in Manhattan, New York; the daughter of Alexander and Anna Kotal.
On June 22, 1947, Anne married Patrick Earl Brady, whom she met on a blind date in New York. Later that year, they moved to the Sweet Home area.
Anne was very athletic and never learned to drive; she always walked everywhere. She collected cans to pay for food for stray cats. She enjoyed butterflies. Singing and dancing were among her favorite things and she was an excellent cook. |

Survivers include son, Michael Brady, of Sweet Home; daughter, Elizabeth Housen, of Sweet Home; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick; brother, Michael Kotal; and sisters, Olga Cabral and Betty Keene.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 11, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Friends may call Tuesday from 10:00 am to noon. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
Family suggests memorial donations to the Humane Society.
