| Marie Anna Smith, age 72, of Brownsville passed away early Wednesday morning. She was born in Eugene, Oregon to Jean and Marie (Bivens) Pirtle.
She made her home in Coos Bay, North Bend, Eugene, Junction City, and Brownsville, Oregon. She moved to Brownsville from Junction City in 1977.
She was a Certified Nurse Assistant and worked at Mennonite Home.
Her hobbies included crocheting.
She is survived by son, Thom Worley, of Brownsville and daughter, Dianna Fries, of Brownsville; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by spouses, Sherman Worley, William Stanley, and Stanley Smith; father, Jean O. Pirtle; mother, Marie A. Bivens Pirtle; and two brothers.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling services.
