| June E. Moore, age 77, of Sweet Home passed away in Crawfordsville on Tuesday. She was born in Portland to Edmond and Edith Mary (Poag) Besaw. She was raised in Portland, and later moved to Cresent, Oregon.
June owned and operated a diner in Cresent. She married Bill Moore on December 5, 1969 in Reno, Nevada, and they moved to Sweet Home together. She did administrative work for Sweet Home High School and was a member of the Elks Lodge.
She loved gardening, finding treasures at estate sales, casino hopping, and visiting with her grandchildren. |

June is survived by brother, Gordon Besaw of Portland; sister, Karen Cherry of Bend; step-son, Ronald L. Moore; step-daughters, Anita Short and Leslye Jones; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Moore, and her son, Jimmy Jordan.
Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 11, at the Sweet Home Elks Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Sweet Home High School Alumni Association.
