| Alice Lee Ellis, age 68, of Sweet Home passed away Monday. She was born in El Reno, Oklahoma; the daughter of Julius D. and Artie E. (Cook) Paul.
She had been a resident of the Lebanon/Sweet Home area since 1972. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked as a CNA for many years giving great care to the elderly while raising her family.
Alice is survived by sons, Harold Ellis, Willis Huffstutler, and Bill Huffstutler; daughters, Bobbie Jackson and Sarah Branson; sister, Patricia Moorehouse; numerous other children adopted by Alice and her husband; 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Ellis; brothers, Billy Paul, John “JW” Paul, and Joe Paul; and a great grandson.
A graveside memorial will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 11, at Lewis Cemetery.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling services.
