| Shirley Ann Cooley, age 74, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday. She was born in Enid, Oklahoma to Glenn and Ruth (Abel) Hogard.
Shirley lived in various places until the family moved to the Stockton, California area in 1948. In 1989, she moved to Sweet Home.
She worked as a switchboard operator at San Joaquin County Hospital until she retired in 1989. She enjoyed hunting, camping, traveling, and cooking.
Shirley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Derek and Kelly, of Sweet Home; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Nick, of Sweet Home; daughter, Kristi, and her partner, Auggie, of Stockton, California. |

She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Cooley, in 2002; sons, David, Rick, and Jimmy; and sister, Norma Jean Hogard, in 1945.
Donations to defer costs may be made in her behalf to the family or Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
