Guy "Sonny" Stepp, age 74, of Brownsville passed away Saturday, January 30. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Norman Edward and Beulah Stepp.

He came to Brownsvill, Oregon as a child in 1939.. Guy married Norma Warden on September 10, 1955.

Guy worked as a timber faller until 1979 when he suffered a disabling injury in a logging accident. Prior to his accident, he enjoyed rodeo and his horses and cattle. After his injury, he did small projects with his hands to keep himself busy.

Guy is survived by his wife, Norma Stepp of Brownsville; children, Debbie and Cathy; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew.

Viewing will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4, at Sweet Home Evangelical Church. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 5, also at Sweet Home Evangelical Church.

Memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Linn County Livestock Association at 36140 Northern Drive, Brownsville, Oregon 97327.
