Clifford Marc Leader, Sr., age 45, of Sweet Home passed away Tuesday afternoon at his home.  He was born in Corvallis to Carmon and Sharon (Hough) Leader.

He lived most of his life in Sweet Home and graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1983. Clifford enjoyed sports and received the Hackworth Sports Award while playing in the Babe Ruth League when he was 13 years old.  He enjoyed fishing, bowling, antique cars, visiting second hand stores, and tinkering.

He is survived by: his mother, Sharon Leader; son, Cliff M. Leader, Jr.; brother, Keith Leader; and nephew, Kyle Leader— all of Sweet Home.

Clifford was preceded in death by: his father, Carmon; sister, Susan Leader; and half-sister, Hope Ann Sanderson.

Donations may be made in his name to the Sweet Home Gleaners or a charity of your choice.  

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 22, at the United Methodist Church, 845 6th Avenue, Sweet Home, under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be at Gilliland Cemetery.
