Nemolee H. Jackson, 80, of Sweet Home passed away Friday, April 23, 2010. He was born in Glover, Oklahoma to Frank and Rosey (McCarroll) Jackson.
Nemolee served in the United States Army. He lived in Wright City until he retired from Weyerhauser in 1992. Then he and his family moved to Baker City, Oregon, and ulimately to Sweet Home in 2008.
He was a member of the Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish.
Nemolee is survived by: sons, Dennis Jackson and Melvin (wife, Mary) Jackson of Sweet Home; brother, Lawrence Jackson of Idabell, Oklahoma; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Shirley Jackson, in 2008; four sisters; and three brothers.
Viewing will be from 12:00 to 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 28, at Sweet Home Evangelical Church. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 28, at Gilliland Cemetery.
