Robert Peckfelder, 64, of Sweet Home, passed away at his home on Friday. He was born in Kingsburg, CA to Lawrence E. and Lois Jean (Schrandt) Peckfelder.
Robert served in the United States Army from 1966 to1968. He moved to Sweet Home 35 years ago.
Robert was a member of the Sweet Home Evangelical Church and Kiwanis. He participated in the Starfish Ministries missions to the Philippines. He was a teacher, a paramedic, and worked for the Forest Services in the summer. He was a registered nurse and had worked in Corvallis ICU, Lebanon emergency room, and was currently working at Oregon State Hospital. |

He loved fishing, camping, and spending time with friends over a cup of coffee.
He is survived by: his wife, Jan; sons, David of Lebanon and Joe of Westerly, RI; brother, John of Clovis, CA; and four grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday, June 5, at Sweet Home Evangelical Church. Memorial contributions can be sent in his name to Starfish Ministries Unlimited, PO Box 71 Lebanon, OR 97355.
