Florence M. Smith, 88, of Sweet Home passed away Monday. She was born in Hardin, Montana to Perry E. and Josephine L. (Glasscock) Worley.
She has lived in Roy, Washington and then Madras, Oregon from 1958 to 2002. She ultimately settled in Sweet Home in 2002.
Florence was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting, solving crossword puzzles, and bowling.
Florence is survived by: sons, Neal J. Smith of Sweet Home, James Patrick Smith of Portland, and Jerry Michael Smith of Terrebonne; daughters, Janice Lucille Humble of Brawley, California, Katherine Patricia Perdue of Sweet Home, and Ramona Bea Smith of Orem, Utah; brother, Curtis Worley of Bremerton, Washington; 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, James “Smily” Smith; her parents; her sister, Margrete; brother, Lyle; and two grandchildren.
Viewing will be at 9:00 am Monday, June 14, at Sweet Home Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 am Monday, June 14, also at the Sweet Home Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Final Burial will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 15, at Mt. Jefferson Memorial Park in Madras, Oregon.
