Yvonne Ethel Wodtli, 76, of Sweet Home passed away Saturday. She was born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota to Floyd Victor and Clara Elizabeth (Shanks) Simpson.
She lived in Canby, Oregon before moving to Sweet Home. Yvonne dedicated her life to her children and family. She was a beloved mother and friend to all. Her hobbies included bowling, pinochle, cookin, and entertaining.
Yvonne is survived by: her children, Dale Meacham and Greg Meacham of Sweet Home, OR, Roger Meacham of Salem, OR, Shannon Kilness and Sharon Moore of Walla Walla, WA; siblings, Mary Pugh of Sweet Home, OR, Ila Miller of Lebanon, OR, Don Simpson of Grants Pass, OR, and Marcia Barksdale of Albany, OR; six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. |

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Harold ‘Hal’ Wodtli; son, Steven Wodtli; and granddaughter, Dawna Webb.
Viewing will be from 9:00 am to noon Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 19, at Gilliland Cemetery.
