Barbara Faye Smith, 71, of Sweet Home died at her home Sunday evening. She was born and raised in Mount Ulla, North Carolina; into a large family of eleven children.
She married Robert “Ross” Smith on March 11, 1963. The couple moved often with Ross’s military career. Later in life, they resided in Washington, and then Oregon. In the late 1990s, they settled in Sweet Home.
Barbara loved gardening, the outdoors, and country drives.
She is survived by her husband, Ross Smith; sons, Neal and John Paul Smith; and seven grandchildren. |
