Harold Gregory Davenport, 51, of Sweet Home passed away Monday. He was born in Highland Park, Michigan to Harold Andrew and Arlene Louise (Eller) Davenport.
Harold moved to Sweet Home as a child in 1964 and graduated from Sweet Home High School. He served in the National Guard from 1978 to 1984.
He worked as a mill worker and later became a truck driver for local companies. He retired two years ago from Chris Kisselburgh Trucking due to difficulties with his cancer. |

Harold loved the outdoors. He liked music and dancing, wood carving, and learned to scuba dive.
Harold is survived by: his son, Cody Davenport of Sweet Home; daughters, Jade Davenport of Lebanon and Rhianon; father, Harold Davenport, and step-mother, Susie Scott, of Sweet Home; brother, Linn Davenport of Umatilla; sisters, Pauline Davenport of Yelm, Washington and Karen Davenport of Sacramento, California; grandchildren, Lucas and Ryan Victor of Sweet Home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene, and brother, Allen James Davenport.
Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 am Tuesday July 13th at Harold’s home. Memorial contributions can be made in his name to Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation.
