Dorothy Marsh Davis, 93, of Sweet Home passed away Wednesday. She was born in Fort Towson, Oklahoma to Joseph and Blanch (Cavendar) Elliott.
She married Maxie Rainey in 1933. They came to Sweet Home from Oklahoma in 1952 and raised their family here.
Dorothy enjoyed sewing, quilting, and flower gardening. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by: children, Mattie Speck, Margarett Duncan, Doris Sitton, Ruby McClung, Joyce Crebs, Jeanette Wallace, Anna Sue Rainey, Cathy Davis, and Debbie Deaton; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. |

Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, J.R. Rainey, and husbands, Johnny Davis and Maxie Rainey.
Viewing will be 2:00-5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Monday, July 26, 2010 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Lebanon.
