Archie Francis Embree, 79, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday with his wife of 53 years by his side.
He was born in Granite Falls, Minnesota to Frank and Alice (Brecke) Embree.
At the age of 27, Archie married Marlys Joan Pederson. The two lived in Minnesota where they had five beautiful children: Lynnette, Bonny, Melanie, Marilyn, and John.
In 1975, Archie and his family moved to the Northwest to settle in Lebanon, Oregon. He worked as a mechanic until he retired at the age of 62. He enjoyed carpentry, photography, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was a devoted husband and a wonderful father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Mr. Embree is survived by: his three siblings, Shirley of Walnut Grove, Minnesota, Alan of Springfield, Minnesota, and Mervyn of Lamberton, Minnesota; five children, nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his sister, Delores; and his brother, Randy.
He will be loved, missed, and remembered by all those who’s lives he has touched.
