Richard “Chief” Lovato, 71, of Sweet Home passed away Tuesday, September 14, at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. He was born February 19, 1939 in Arizona to Antonio and Dominica (Garcia) Lovato. He lived in Sweet Home for about 40 years. Chief enjoyed motorcycle riding.
He is survived by: his son, Rick Lovato; his daughter, Wanda Smith; his brothers, Don and Edward Lovato; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Cauble.
