Dawnann Lucille Slay, 48, of Sweet Home passed away Friday. She was born in Pendleton, Oregon to Don and Joanne (VanCleave) Braaten.

She graduated from Cascade High School in Turner, Oregon. She grew up in Oregon and traveled to about 32 states with her husband, Robert Slay. She always loved Oregon the most. 

Dawnann is survived by her husband, Robert Slay, and six children, four grandchildren, two expected grandchildren, and many loving friends that she took into her heart and into her family. She alway had love for those who needed it and will be missed by all that knew her. 

A memorial and potluck will be held from noon to 3:00 pm Wednesday, December 1,  2010 at  the Sweet Home Christian Church.
