Randy Wayne Cogar, 60, of Sheridan passed away Friday. He was born in Webster Springs, West Virginia to Bantz and Irene Cogar.
He lived most of his life in Oregon. Randy worked as a mechanic for motorcycles.
Randy played in bands and with just about any instrument he could get his hands on.
He loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Randy is survived by: his wife, Marquette “Markie” Cogar of Sheridan; children, Jerry (and his wife, Stacy) Cogar of Keizer and Eric Cogar of Salem; sisters, Mary H. Smith of Mill City and Nancy Cogar of Salem; grandchildren; Zachary, Meaghan, Lindsey, Sage, Olen, Landon, and Rosella; step-daughter, Heather Redman of Ventura, California; and great, great granddaughter, Hayden.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Cogar, his sister, Ruth Glen, and his parents.
Services were held July 30th.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
