Terry V. Stafford, 69, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away in Portland Sunday, March 11. He was born in Cole Camp, Missouri to Virgal J. and Emogene (Koehring) Stafford.
He moved to Sweet Home when he was two years old. He lived in the Liberty area until he was 18.
Terry worked in the logging industry in Sweet Home and Alaska.
He is survived by children Amanda, Jeff, and Rachel; brothers Phil, Steve, and Jeff; sisters Linda, Lona, Kellie, Lisa, Stephanie, Stacey, and Briona; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Bud Stafford; mother Emogene; brother Brian Stafford; and great-granddaughter Velicity.
Terry lived a tortured life because of mental illness. The family would like to thank the people of Sweet Home who befriended him and helped him.
