Robert Carl Murphy
October 18, 1946–February 2, 2019
   

Robert Carl Murphy, 72, of Shedd, Oregon passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019. He was born in Duquesne, Pennsylvania to Howard Carl Murphy and Margaret Elizabeth Bozsik.

He lived in Pennsylvania, Freemont, Hayward, Sacramento, Modesto, and Keyes, California and Shedd, Oregon.

Robert worked for a window manufacturing company, a collection agency, and Morris Plan in California. In Oregon, he worked at a mill in Halsey and at Credit Thrift in Albany. He attended Pentecostal and Catholic churches.

He enjoyed aquariums, fishing, gardening, and home construction. He loved spending time with his family.

Robert is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margo L. Murphy, of Shedd; daughter Christina L. Dannen of Halsey; grand-daughters Rebecca L. and her husband, Shawn P. Rose, of Brownsville and Laura D. Dannen and her fiancé, Chance D. Derschon, of Harrisburg; great-grandchildren Chyanne Rose, Brooklynn Rose, and Sullivan Rose of Brownsville; sister Eileen Teresa Buckley and her husband, Anthony Ardizone, Sr., of Modesto, California; and cousin Beverly Bozsik.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret; father Howard; step-dad Buck; uncles Chester and Bill; and aunts Anne and Ruth.

A private internment was held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum.
